Labyrinth's culinary philosophy is rooted in a deep respect for tradition and a passion for innovation. Chef LG Han's meticulous exploration of age-old, often-forgotten recipes pays homage to Singapore's rich culinary heritage. Inspired by his childhood memories, Chef Han has reimagined these classic dishes, infusing them with contemporary flavors and techniques.

 

The restaurant's menu is a testament to our commitment to preserving Singapore's culinary heritage while pushing the boundaries of culinary creativity. By highlighting the connections between history and the food, Labyrinth offers a unique dining experience that challenges preconceived notions of Singaporean cuisine.

In 2014, Chef Han founded Labyrinth, encapsulating his roots and memories of growing up in Singapore.

 

Through the years, Chef Han has focused unwaveringly on bringing new experiences to the table, challenging convention, and contributing positively to the industry. In 2017, Labyrinth was awarded the coveted Michelin star -- a recognition of a chef and restaurant whose constant explorations challenge the norms and common perceptions of food; and in so doing reshaped the culinary landscape of Singapore.

 

As Labyrinth celebrates its 10th anniversary, Chef Han and his team decided to cast a fresh eye on the future and bring a brand-new Labyrinth experience. In counterpoint to the reinventions and newly minted dishes that have characterised the Labyrinth menu, he now seeks to uncover in depth the foodscape of Singapore – as bequeathed by history – and present it in quintessentially Labyrinth style, in a new refined approach.
